It’s hard to believe Easter is just around the corner.  If you have been enlisted to host this year here are a few tips to complete your party!

This year it’s all about brunch.  Keep it simple, serve classic favorites and everyone will be happy.

Next in planning an Easter Brunch is deciding on your table linens.  It’s fun to mix and match a variety of color or textures that are all in the same color family.  It keeps your table interesting and fun!

To make your Easter morning a bit less stressful, pull your tableware out ahead of time.  It will make setting the table a breeze.

Flowers add life and beauty to tablescapes.  Mix in large arrangements or even a grouping single buds to give your table a little extra Easter cheer.

When it comes time to plan the menu, keep it somewhat basic.  It’s fun to experiment with maybe 1-2 new recipes, but stick to classics that you already know how to cook for the rest.  The last thing you want is to try a new dish and have it turn out a Pinterest fail.

Offer 2-3 drink options from fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee, sparkling lemonade or fruit infused water. If serving coffee, don’t forget the cream and sugar!

I like to have a few options on the table as part of the centerpiece that guests can eat as an appetizer and keep the main dishes in the kitchen, displayed as more of a buffet style.  There is never enough room on the dining table for all of the food!  Just be sure you have the essentials like butter, salt & pepper, and syrup on the table to eliminate guests having to get up and down.
