What size linens do you need for your tables? It’s a question we get almost daily and we created the chart below to help! The first thing you need to do is to measure your table (or if you’re renting one you already know the size). If you are measuring a round table you will want the diameter (the distance straight across from the widest spot) and the height (if it’s not the standard 30 inch table height). If you are measuring a rectangular table you will want the width and depth of the table (most banquet tables will be 30 inches deep, but this can vary between styles).
The second step you will need to do is decide whether you would like the linen to be lap-length (about halfway down the table) or floor-length (just grazing the floor). We do have both options separated below for your convenience. Another thing to keep in mind is that floor-length linens will cost more to rent since they are a larger linen and require more fabric. Below are some photos for reference on what lap-length vs. floor-length linens will look like on your tables.
