The results are in! The official Pantone color of the year for 2019 is…. Living Coral!
In the midst of winter, it may be difficult to imagine such a summery color as the color of the year, but hopefully this vibrant splash of pink-orange hue will keep you warm until the temperatures start to rise. Pantone’s website describes this year’s color choice as ‘bright, nurturing, energizing, sociable and spirited’, which does seem like a great choice for 2019. Check out what Pantone’s executive director, Leatrice Eiseman, has to say about Living Coral, for a better look at why this was chosen for 2019.
Living Coral may be a bit bright for some, but for others who love this color choice, there are several ways to incorporate this, and complimentary colors into the pallets for your 2019 events. For Pantone’s recommended combinations, check out the Pantone.com ‘palette exploration’ section, under the 2019 color of the year. At Front Range Event Rental we have many of the recommended color combination options, as well as a few recommendations of our own! We have found that our Melon and Shrimp/Sherbet colors are your best bet to match Living Coral. For some neutral color pairings, try White, Ivory or Khaki. For a perfectly spring pairing, or to use for an Easter party, try using Celadon along with Melon or Shrimp. For some combinations with cooler tones, consider using Navy, Teal, Pacifica, or Ocean. For other color options, as well as to check availability, contact the Special Event Coordinators at Front Range Event Rental today!
Be sure to keep in mind that there will be limited availability for Melon and Shrimp/Sherbet. The popularity of the color of the year can cause a rush during popular event times, so be sure to plan ahead! Interested in checking out your options for a 2019 event?
